The Komatsu PC490LCi is equipped with iMC (Intelligent Machine Control). This system equips the excavator to keep both grade and boundaries on a project by fully integrating with the machine’s hydraulic system and using 3D jobsite files sent remotely to the machine via satellite connection. On the projects we work on, the Komatsu iMC system allows us to accurately and efficiently dig precise excavations for utilities, duct banks and vaults, among other items.

The iMC system integrates advanced sensors and GPS technology to provide real-time data and guidance to operators. This means that Gregory’s excavations are performed with unmatched precision and efficiency, reducing the risk of over-excavation and rework.

Weighing in at approximately 110,000 lbs., it has a max digging depth of 25-feet-5-inches, and has a maximum lift capacity of 54,300 lbs.! All this brawn enables Gregory Construction to perform excavations at a staggering pace in addition to having the ability to set vaults of over 30,000 lbs. without breaking a sweat.
